For young children, Jewish learning should be an exciting adventure that inspires a lifelong love of Judaism. The Certificate in Early Childhood Jewish Education (ECJE) equips you with the knowledge and skills to integrate the study of Jewish values, traditions, culture and Hebrew language with developmentally appropriate methods for teaching young children and their families. The certificate may be taken for either undergraduate or graduate credit.

The Student Experience

Our students are both Boston-based and spread throughout the United States and abroad, as we reach beyond our walls with online technology for teaching and learning. Coursework can be completed entirely online or, if you live within commuting distance of Hebrew College, as a combination of on-campus and online study.

Early Childhood Institute

Hebrew College also houses The Early Childhood Institute (ECI), which hosts an annual ECI Conference and partners with the Boston-Haifa Early Childhood Educators Connection.
