Joan and Ted Cutler Join us as we honor Joan and Ted Cutler and present a new vision for Hebrew College’s continuing leadership role in Jewish education.

Ted Cutler chaired the board of Hebrew College during a period of great transition. His steady leadership and extraordinary generosity helped the College to surmount significant challenges. With Joan’s support, the Cutler legacy at Hebrew College includes the world-class education that prepares its students and alumni to make an enormous impact on the Jewish world and beyond.

Joan and Ted are also leading patrons of education and the arts in Boston generally. Their imprint on local culture is evident through their commitment not only to Hebrew College, but also to many other institutions at the center of our communal life. These include AIPAC, the Boston Ballet, the Boston Lyric Opera Company, Combined Jewish Philanthropies, Emerson College (of which Ted is Chair Emeritus), the Greater Boston Food Bank, Jewish Community Housing for the Elderly, the Silent Spring Institute, and The Wang Theatre at the Citi Performing Arts Center.
