Radiance: Creative Mitzvah Living – A Conversation with Danny Siegel
“No one has inspired the Jewish community to perform acts of kindness more than Danny Siegel, and this comprehensive collection of his most radiant works sings out to us all. Radiance is a spiritual masterpiece!” — Rabbi David Ellenson, chancellor emeritus, Hebrew Union College–Jewish Institute of Religion
Join us for this celebration of Danny Siegel’s extraordinary writings and mitzvah-centered works which have transformed individuals, neighborhoods, communities and the world for some 50 years. “Radiance: Creative Mitzah Living.” is the first anthology of his writings – and reflects both his spirituality and pragmatism that inspires and empowers his readers to embark on acts of kindness and complete works of tzedakah.
Edited by Rabbi Neal Gold, Me’ah instructor and member of the Miller Center Advisory Committee with the forward by Rabbi Joseph Telushkin, the anthology also includes five new essays by Danny Siegel.
The evening will include a dialogue between Rabbi Or Rose, Director of the Miller Center for Learning and Leadership, selected readings from the anthology by Danny and comments by editor Rabbi Neal Gold.
