Graduate Degrees & Guidelines

Admissions decisions are based on a careful review of a candidate’s completed application, credentials, supporting documents and appropriateness for the degree program. Applicants for graduate degree programs must have a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university and a competitive GPA.

Applicants for whom English is not their primary language are not required to submit a TOEFL score. However, the College reserves the right to ask for a TOEFL exam if the applicant’s essays and/or interview do not indicate the level of English proficiency needed to succeed in graduate coursework.

Hebrew College admits qualified students without regard to age, sex, religion, disability, race, color or national origin. An application for financial aid does not in any way affect a candidate’s application for admission.

Interview

The interview is an essential and required part of the application process for all Hebrew College graduate degree programs. This is an opportunity for us to get to know you better and for you to visit the campus, sit in on classes, meet students and learn more about the college and program for which you are applying.

Though on-campus interviews are preferred, a phone or virtual interview may be arranged. To schedule your visit, please contact your program’s Office of Admissions to learn more.
