News Highlights Rabbi Margie Klein Ronkin to Lead Essex County Social Justice Group

Veteran activist and Hebrew College alumna Rabbi Margie Klein Ronkin `11 was named executive director of the Essex County Community Organization (ECCO), a faith-based grass-roots organization that fights for racial and social justice. She is the first rabbi to hold this position.
The Lynn-based ECCO is a network of 59 Essex County Massachusetts congregations and the North Shore Labor Council. From 2013 until now, Rabbi Ronkin was the group’s director of clergy organizing and leadership development.
