Humans of Hebrew College Mentoring Individual Learners

By Deborah Skolnick Einhorn

Humans of Hebrew College #HumansHC

“Here at Hebrew College, our emphasis is on mentoring and understanding every student as an individual learner. When we form these one-on-one relationships with students — whether over Skype, phone or on campus — we are able to stretch and challenge them, support them, and help them create a program that suits their professional ambitions as well as their personal style, schedule and interests. In this way, we also seek to model our vision for how Jewish education should look — individualized, compelling, cohesive and meaningful (holistic could also go here instead of one of these). What a great job, I have! What could be better than teaching, supporting and nurturing the professionals who, in turn, teach Jewish students all over the world? I am grateful for that opportunity every day.”
