The book thus serves as a bridge for those who are either new to the psalms or who, like me, are deeply familiar with the psalms but have been looking for a way to connect on a deeper spiritual and emotional level.

Rabbinical student and journalist Matthew Schultz’s article on Psalms, “Learning to Love Judaism’s Best Loved Book,” was published in the January 22, 2024 issue of the Jewish Journal.

Hebrew College’s Miller Center for Interreligious Learning & Leadership has recently launched an interreligious website about the Book of Psalms, with opportunities to engage with the psalms from Jewish and Christian perspectives and in new ways via commentary, art, music, and poetry. Visit the site to experience the psalms from these new perspectives.
