“It was a powerful experience, being part of the largest Jewish gathering in American history. Alongside the urgency and anxiety and horror that brought us all together, the overall atmosphere was a positive one. It was powerful to feel that there was space for Jewish people to stand side by side even with wide ranging political differences. The day was about something much broader and managed to hold us all,” said rabbinical student Carrie Watkins (pictured right with fellow rabbinical students Jessica Spencer and Alex Goldfarb).
