Humans of Hebrew College Cantor Katharine Richard Judd, Can’15

By Wendy Linden

Cantor Katharine Richard Judd, Can’15

“From my very early childhood I was drawn to music and to religion. I set out to be an opera singer, but after a few years in the field I no longer could find my spiritual connection to that music. In my other profession as a teacher of the Alexander Technique, I learned how to be still and know God—without actually recognizing that it was God. It was only when I first sang Kol Nidre that I experienced the perfect alignment of music and the Divine in my being.” #HumansHC
