What Sets Us Apart from the Competition

  • Ample Free Parking: Parking spaces run the entire length of campus, allowing for easy access to the building.
  • On-Site Facilitators: We provide staff according to each event’s specific parameters and needs (security, front desk, point person, etc.)
  • Today’s Technology: Our campus is fully WiFi-enabled, and we offer microphones, and projectors with screens. Several rooms are equipped with short-throw projectors and we offer livestream capability in the Sanctuary.

Q. Do you offer catering services? What are your policies around food?

No, we do not offer set catering services but outside Kosher food is allowed to be catered or brought in. Our recommended caterers include Catering by Andrew and Dushez Catering.

Q. What kind of events do you allow to be held at the Hebrew College event spaces?

We welcome both religious and secular events alike! We are open to hosting:

Q. How many people can fit into the space/s?

We have many different event space sizes, from bigger halls that can fit a 294 person lecture, rooms fit for 200 people for dinner and dancing, all the way down to a 12 person classroom for more intimate gatherings or smaller study groups.

Q. Do you require a deposit to hold the space/s?

In most instances, a non-refundable deposit is required to hold a reserved space at 1860 Washington Street.

Q. Do you have a time limit for space rentals?

Pricing may be adjusted based on the length of the event.

Q. What is the best way to get to the event space/s?

Hebrew College is in the heart of Newton, Massachusetts, a short drive from Boston and surrounding suburbs and easily accessible by major transportation routes including MBTA buses and the T. The closest T station is Woodland on the Green line.

Q. Is parking available?

Yes, and it’s free! Parking spaces run the entire length of campus, allowing for easy access to the building.

Q. Is WiFi available in the event spaces? 

Our campus is fully WiFi-enabled, and many rooms are equipped with short-throw projectors and other presentation equipment. Please specify if you require a room with specific technology!
