Gala Speakers Illuminate the Power of Our Community
The power of Hebrew College’s community was on full display at our Spring Gala on May 14, when members of our extended community shared moving reflections on the many ways the College has touched their lives. Their stories offered a powerful reminder that the sparks kindled here travel beyond our shared campus to illuminate families, congregations, senior communities, and innovative Jewish gathering spaces throughout Greater Boston and beyond.
Our Spark Speakers reflected on the profound impact of relationships formed through adult learning, interfaith fellowship, congregational life, rabbinic pastoral care, and innovative Jewish community-building. Their stories spoke to the ways Hebrew College nurtures wisdom, compassion, and connection across generations and across lines of difference: helping parents and children listen to one another more deeply, creating friendships rooted in mutual understanding, bringing Torah and comfort to elders, and offering welcoming spaces for healing and renewal.
