sharon-cohen-anisfeldRabbi Sharon Cohen Anisfeld has been president of Hebrew College since 2018. She previously served as Dean of the Rabbinical School of Hebrew College for 11 years. Rabbi Anisfeld graduated from the Reconstructionist Rabbinical College in 1990 and subsequently spent 15 years working in pluralistic settings as a Hillel rabbi at Tufts University, Yale University, and Harvard University.

She was a regular summer faculty member for the Bronfman Youth Fellowships in Israel from 1993-2016 and is co-editor of two volumes of women’s writings on Passover, The Women’s Seder Sourcebook: Rituals and Readings for Use at the Passover Seder and The Women’s Passover Companion: Women’s Reflections on the Festival of Freedom.

Rabbi Marc Baker is President and CEO of Combined Jewish Philanthropies of Greater Boston (CJP), where he leads the organization in its mission to inspire Jewish life and ignite positive change in Greater Boston, in Israel, and across the globe. He champions CJP’s efforts to build partnerships, develop resources, mobilize volunteers, and put innovative philanthropy into practice. He regularly writes, speaks, and teaches about leadership, community, and civic life, bringing the voice of Jewish tradition to contemporary issues.

Baker graduated from Yale University in 1997 with a Bachelor of Arts in religious studies and received his Master’s in Jewish education from The Hebrew University in 2002. Before coming to CJP, Marc served as Head of School at Gann Academy, in Waltham. Born in Lynnfield, Marc currently resides in Brookline with his wife, Jill, and their four children.

Charlie-SchwartzRabbi Charlie Schwartz is the founding director of Lehrhaus:, an award-winning Jewish tavern and house of learning in Somerville, Massachusetts. Throughout his career, he has worked at the intersection of Jewish learning and community-building at organizations including the Jewish Theological Seminary, Brandeis University and Hillel International. At Lehrhaus, he leads a groundbreaking effort to blend Jewish study, hospitality, and communal life — creating vibrant new models for Jewish engagement and learning for the 21st century.

A graduate of Oberlin College, Charlie served with distinction as an infantry squad commander in the Israel Defense Forces before receiving his rabbinic ordination from the Jewish Theological Seminary. Passionate about Jewish educational technology, he co-founded Not-a-Box Media Lab, creator of the widely used PocketTorah and AlephBet apps.
