Purim Ecstatic Dance – Touch the Other Side
(Or: The AfterParty)
THE STORY
One year ago, following Purim, we stepped into darkness as the pandemic swept across the globe. For one night, the Jewish tradition teaches us to untether from the black bile, to shake off the pain of this past year and indulge in revelry. Join us after the Megillah reading for an exploration of what it means to untether and transcend. Come sober, come drunk, come prepared to dance. Costumes, glitter, and loose clothes to move in are encouraged.
This event is sponsored by the Breath Lab at Hebrew College.
