News Highlights Hebrew College Launches Two New Certificates in Tefillah Leadership

This Fall, Hebrew College is launching two new graduate certificates in Tefillah Leadership, preparing a new generation of prayer leaders to cultivate dynamic, living prayer in Jewish communities. Designed for emerging and experienced prayer leaders, each of the two-year programs combines deep exploration of Jewish liturgy and musical traditions with practical and spiritual training in the skills of prayer leadership. Led by Hebrew College Rosh Tefillah and Artist-in-Residence Rabbi Jessica Kate Meyer, RS ’14, the certificates bring together Hebrew College faculty and masters of Jewish prayer traditions from the Boston area and beyond. The in-person programs are open to rabbinical students, alumni, lay leaders, professional clergy, and musicians of Jewish traditions.
