Join us on Monday, February 2, 2026 at 7 PM at Hebrew College for Part II of Hebrew College’s series “Poetry and Music as Midrash in Motion.” The evening of original poetry and music exploring contemporary creative expression as living midrash brings together poets, musicians, and students in a shared inquiry into text, tradition, and voice.
The evening will feature original work by Ben Corvo (right), whose poetry engages Jewish life, memory, and language with formal rigor and emotional depth. Corvo’s work has appeared in The Manhattan Review, Salmagundi, and other journals in the US, UK, and Israel. Student poets from Hebrew College will also share their work, including Risa Dunbar, alongside live musical offerings by student musicians Julia Sabra and Sam Tygiel.
This event is sponsored by the Hebrew College Rabbinical School, in partnership with RUACH.
