Visions of Prayer Leadership:  A Two-Day Intensive Seminar

Monday and Tuesday, June 3 and 4, 8 am–5 pm

Ani Kinor: Prayer Leader Summer Institute presents “Visions of Prayer Leadership.” Over two days, participants will study with Hebrew College faculty and students on the philosophy and practice of “shlichut,” prayer leading. Presentations and beit-midrash style text study will give an overview, and workshops will explore the theme of “Listening to Text and Context,” including both physical and intellectual approaches to becoming an effective prayer leader.

Study with Hebrew College rector Rabbi Art Green, Hebrew College Rabbinical School faculty member Rabbi Ebn Leader, School of Jewish Music Dean Cantor Dr. Brian Mayer, School of Jewish Music Head of Vocal Arts Cantor Lynn Torgove, and others.

The day will include communal morning and afternoon prayer; breakfast and lunch are included.
