Open Circle Jewish Learning 20s and 30s brings together young adults in living rooms (or online, due to COVID-19) throughout Greater Boston to build connection and community through stimulating, accessible Jewish learning and conversation.

Our facilitators are educators and rabbis training and experienced in leading young adult groups in discussion and text-based Jewish learning.
Open Circle 20s and 30s Instructors
Rabbi Getzel Davis
Getzel Davis is associate rabbi and Jewish educator at Harvard Hillel. Before joining Harvard, he was a rabbinic intern at The Boston Synagogue and spiritual director at Eden Village Camp. He has also worked as an educator for American Jewish World Service, Bend the Arc, the Teva Learning Alliance and Larchmont Temple. A graduate of Brandeis University, Davis received his rabbinic ordination and Master of Jewish Education from Hebrew College. He loves to get lost in deep forests and rock out to brass-band music.
Rabbi Elie Lehmann
Elie Lehmann loves supporting young adults find innovative and meaningful ways to feel confident in their Jewish identity, knowledge, and practice. He is Senior Jewish Educator at BU Hillel, a graduate of Hebrew College Rabbinical School and former Rabbinic Fellow at Tufts University Hillel. Recently, he returned from a year of learning in Israel and summer teaching Judaic Studies in Kenya. Elie is a Wexner Graduate Fellow and completed B.A.s from Columbia University and The Jewish Theological Seminary. When not jamming on drums, Elie can be found experimenting in the kitchen or cycling around new neighborhoods.
