“Living in Tel Aviv, Israel this year has been an exciting and important part of my rabbinic training. I am taking classes in Hebrew at four different Israeli universities and yeshivot, where I learn with both secular and religious Israeli students. Tel Aviv is a vibrant and colorful city, bursting with high tech startups, and blossoming with diverse prayer and learning communities. I’m grateful for the opportunity to be here, and of course, going to the beach in December doesn’t hurt.”
