HCO Policies

Hebrew College Online grades in accordance with Hebrew College grading and other academic policies, which are posted on the Hebrew College Web site. Make sure you are familiar with these policies. Check this page at the start of each semester to make sure you are aware of any policy changes. Here are some additional specifics we want to make sure to highlight:

Grading

No student may be given a grade of INC (Incomplete) without arranging to do so by agreeing on a specific alternate schedule with the professor before the last day of the semester. The professor needs to e-mail HCO about the INC agreement, including the expected date of completion, before the end of the semester so that HCO can make sure that the academic and registrar's offices are aware of the arrangement. Again, a grade of INC means that both the student and professor have agreed to special allowances; for a student to receive an incomplete, the professor must agree and advise HCO about this before the end of the semester.

Similarly, W (withdrawn) may not be assigned on the grade sheet. W means a formal withdrawal was made with the registrar during the semester.
