Committed to lifelong Jewish education, Hebrew College promotes the study of Judaism for youths and teens in a communal environment through Prozdor, the College's secondary school division, and Camp Yavneh, a klal Yisrael overnight camp in Northwood, N.H.
With over 950 students, Prozdor offers Jewish teens a rigorous
and meaningful program of Jewish Studies with a strong commitment
to Hebrew language. Teens explore all facets of Judaism through
many modesfrom Jewish visual and performing arts to an
intensive, six-hour Talmud study program.
Founded by Hebrew College in 1944,
Camp Yavneh, located in Northwood, N.H., offers a comprehensive
overnight summer camping experience for 8- to 16-year-olds
in a welcoming, klal Yisrael
community. Yavneh combines traditional summer camp activities
with a strong Jewish studies component so that all aspects
of camp life reflect Jewish values.
Camp Yavneh also features Family Camp at Yavneh, an extended summer weekend filled with activities for all ages, stimulating Jewish learning, wonderful food and a ruach-filled Shabbat.
