IRVING W. RABB TO RECEIVE LOWN MEDAL

RabbFormer Stop & Shop Vice Chairman Irving W. Rabb will receive this year's Philip W. Lown Distinguished Service Medal on Tuesday, May 4. An active participant in the activities of the Boston Jewish community, Rabb, with his late wife, Charlotte, has been extensively involved in the fields of education, healthcare and the arts. At Hebrew College, Rabb is a member of the Board of Overseers, a former trustee and a 1988 recipient of an honorary degree.

This year's award dinner will be held at the Four Seasons Hotel in Boston, and will be chaired by Rabb's two children, James M. Rabb and Betty R. Schafer. For more information, please contact Ariela Lipton, 617-559-8724 or alipton@hebrewcollege.edu.
