Former Stop & Shop Vice Chairman Irving W. Rabb will receive this year's Philip W. Lown Distinguished Service Medal on Tuesday, May 4. An active participant in the activities of the Boston Jewish community, Rabb, with his late wife, Charlotte, has been extensively involved in the fields of education, healthcare and the arts. At Hebrew College, Rabb is a member of the Board of Overseers, a former trustee and a 1988 recipient of an honorary degree.
