COMMUNITY NOTES

Jonathan Kappel was appointed as director of the Campaign for Hebrew College in April. Responsible for overseeing Phase Two of the College's $100 million campaign, he will work with David Chivo, director of development, on a range of fundraising initiatives. He was previously the director of development at Clark University for eight years and has a BA from Clark.

Felicia Fraser began in March as the College's new registrar. Formerly the registrar at Andover Newton Theological School for more than five years, she holds a BA from Wellesley College.

Laura Backman joined the Academic Programs staff in March as admissions administrator. Her previous position was director of admissions and marketing at Matignon High School, a private school in Cambridge. She holds a BA from Boston University.
