COMMUNITY NOTES

Daniel H. Brosgol joined the Prozdor staff in July as Director of Informal Education. A graduate of Brandeis University, he earned a Certificate in Jewish Day School Education from Hebrew College in 2003 and received the College's Nathan and Sadie Friedman Prize. Previously, he worked as a Teaching Fellow at Rashi School in Newton.

Richard Feczko, Me'ah Director; Evelyn Herwitz, Director of Marketing and Communications; Barbara Levitov, Community Education Consultant; and Raylea Pemstein, Me'ah Administrative Director, were among this year's Me'ah graduates, receiving their certificates at the June 1 ceremony. Also at the College's Commencement, Ruthie Strosberg, Prozdor Middle School Director, received both a Master of Jewish Education and the Betty K. and Philip Fein Memorial Prize, awarded to an outstanding student for graduate studies in Jewish education.

Melissa Roiter was honored for her work as a Star Council Member of the Jewish Big Brother & Big Sister Association of Greater Boston in May. The Star Council recruits volunteers, plans events for matches and is dedicated to ensuring program quality.

President David Gordis awarded Michelle Moshin a citation of recognition for dedicated service on June 11, marking the anniversary of her twenty-second year as an employee of Hebrew College.
