HC rabbinical students entering their fifth year in fall 2007 will be available to fill pulpits in congregations seeking spiritual leadership on a monthly, biweekly or weekly basis.
Students include men and women from diverse Jewish backgrounds who have chosen to study for the rabbinate in
a transdenominational setting and who are prepared to serve both affiliated and independent congregations.
Hebrew College is committed to the training of rabbis with an in-depth knowledge of the sources of Judaism and a love of the Jewish people, who are well versed in current trends in synagogue life and structure, active in programs of social justice, and dedicated to the furtherance of interfaith understanding.
