Rabbinical Students Available to Fill Student Pulpits

HC rabbinical students entering their fifth year in fall 2007 will be available to fill pulpits in congregations seeking spiritual leadership on a monthly, biweekly or weekly basis.

Students include men and women from diverse Jewish backgrounds who have chosen to study for the rabbinate in a transdenominational setting and who are prepared to serve both affiliated and independent congregations.

Hebrew College is committed to the training of rabbis with an in-depth knowledge of the sources of Judaism and a love of the Jewish people, who are well versed in current trends in synagogue life and structure, active in programs of social justice, and dedicated to the furtherance of interfaith understanding.

For more information about securing a student rabbi for the fall, please contact Rabbi Sanford Seltzer, Associate Dean, sseltzer@hebrewcollege.edu or 617-559-8639. For general information about the Rabbinical School of Hebrew College, contact Frankie Snyder, Program Administrator, fsnyder@hebrewcollege.edu or 617-559-8632, or visit hebrewcollege.edu/rabbi.
