Patriots football players Wesly Britt, Artrell Hawkins, Marquise Hill, Michael McGrew, Eric Warfield and Ty Warren were among the more than 1,200 guests of all ages who gathered at Gillette Stadium on Sunday afternoon, May 7, for the Hebrew College ProzBowl—believed to be Boston's best attended fundraiser for a Jewish institution in recent history.
Hebrew College Prozdor High School students entertained their guests with drama, song, klezmer music and Israeli dance, while family and friends enjoyed the show and met with Patriots players and cheerleaders, as well as team members of the New England Revolution.
The event was co-chaired by Myra
Me'ah'01 and Robert Kraft
P'58, and celebrated the outstanding accomplishments of Hebrew College Prozdor High School, which has grown from 177 students in 1997 to nearly 950 teens from more than 80 communities around Massachusetts and Southern New Hampshire.
At the Sunday evening Post-Bowl Supper, keynote speaker Robert Kraft praised Hebrew College Prozdor for its commitment to enabling students to identify their own core values. The Krafts were given honorary Prozdor diplomas. Hebrew College President David M. Gordis thanked Prozdor Director Margie Berkowitz and High School Director Bil Zarch for their "inspired leadership" in growing and guiding Prozdor.
