SHALOM HAVERIM

Sharlene Kamens FinkelI am delighted to present this issue of Alon Habogrim, which highlights Hebrew College's strong commitment to Israel and the Hebrew language. Many of our alumni are living in Israel and have made aliyah. Others are reconnecting with the Hebrew language through Hebrew College's Chugim Ivriim and alumni courses.

We look forward to our 79th Commencement Exercises on Sunday, June 6, 2:00 p.m., when the classes of 1954 and 1979 will participate in reunion activities. All other classes will informally reconnect with each other and the College. Please do come!

In past issues you have seen my friend and classmate's photograph in this space. Marsha Katz Slotnick, P'60, HC'64, who served the College with distinction as director of development and capital campaign, has taken a new position. Marsha's efforts, and her excitement about the promise of Hebrew College, resulted in the realization of this publication and in countless alumni reconnecting to the College. We wish her well in her new endeavor.
