Hebrew College Trustee Mark Atkins
P'65, recently announced his gift of $3 million to Phase II of the College's $100 million Capital Campaign. This gift represents the largest gift ever made by a Hebrew College graduate, and the first seven-figure gift in support of the new campaign.
Atkins, who is chair of the Hebrew College Online Strategic Planning Committee and chair of the Development Committee, is president and CEO of Invention Machine Corporation, a leading provider of corporate innovation software and services. At Hebrew College he brings his expertise in strategic planning and partnering, budgeting, branding, marketing and public relations.
His hands-on involvement is what will most greatly transform Hebrew College, says President David Gordis: "Mark has infused the College on so many levels with his entrepreneurial spirit, drive and contagious optimism that he has quickly made himself indispensable to the College's overall mission."
Another significant gift, in the amount of $500,000, was made anonymously by an alumna who received her master's degree from Hebrew College and whose family has connections to Prozdor. Her gift will support a merit-based scholarship at the College.
